Collections are organized data you can work on.
They are used in projects to nourish the work and the model.
In the Library, you can see all the collections you have access to and create new ones.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Create a new collection
When creating a new collection, you will need first to give a name and a description (not mandatory but highly recommended) to your collection.
Then, you will have to select the repository where your files are stored, and navigate through it to select all the desired files for creating your new collection.
Once you validate, your collection will be created and added in the Library.
It will be available for you to use in projects.
Don't forget to add a policy to it if you want other users to have access to it.
Find and work on a collection
To find a collection, you can use the search bar; it will match your request with the collections' names.
Then, you can:
- rename a collection
- delete a collection (beware, the collection might be used in projects and its deletion could impact the work and especially the sourced work done there)
- manage the collection policy
- work on the collection
- add new file(s)
- remove file(s)
- extract knowledge
Collection policies
To manage a collection policy, you must open the collection and click on the cogwheel on the top right.
Then select a policy or create a policy.
Users in this policy will have access to your collection with READ or WRITE permissions:
