They are available from the Task Presets tab in the left menu.

Create an Extract Meta preset

You have two ways to configure a preset:

  • on the platform by adding items
  • on your computer by downloading, filling and reuploading a CSV file

When configuring an Extract Meta, you can add as much information as you need and for each of them you must define:

  • the meta needed: for example "authors"
  • the format expected: text, whole number (integer), floating number, binary (True/False)
  • a guideline (optional): you can for example limit the answer to a specific number of characters or impart the output you are expecting
  • multi-valued: you can also specify if the answer can be multiple. For example, if you are requesting for authors names, there can be several, so you need to allow multiple values answer.

When using a CSV, expected formats for answerType are STRING, BOOL, INT, FLOAT.

Create a Q&A preset

When configuring a Q&A, you can add as many question as you need and for each of them you must define:

  • the question: for example "is LT3 used as a treatment for hypothyroid?"
  • a guideline (optional): for example, you can limit the answer to a specific number of characters or specify the format of the expected output
  • compliance check: define the expected output to evaluate whether the answer meets your requirements

When using a CSV, expected formats for answerType are STRING, BOOL, INT, FLOAT.

Manage presets

From the Task Presets tab, you can see all the presets you have access to, meaning with at least READ access.

If you have WRITE permissions on a preset, you can edit, duplicate or delete it.

If you have READ permissions on a preset, you can see it and duplicate it.

When editing a preset, you can modify its name, its configuration and its policies.

Beware, a preset can be edited from the tasks directly.

Presets policies

To manage a preset policy, you must go to the Task Presets tab, edit the preset and click on the cogwheel on the top-right corner.

Then select a policy or create a policy.

Users in this policy will have access to your preset with READ or WRITE permissions:
